Fender 1972 Telecaster (Signed by Albert Lee) USED Electric Guitar in Southampton, Hampshire for sale

The first thing to say about this guitar is what a neck... it feels amazing!!!! The body has plenty of battle scars, it is not a relic but a naturally aged vintage guitar so there are dings, paint wear etc. The bridge and controls and panel are tarnished and the screws are a bit rusty as are the screws on the neck plate and strap buttons. If you were buying a new relic this would be between a light and heavy relic!! The original scratch plate is long gone and has been replaced by a tortoise shell one. The original pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Jerry Donahues. It also has the JD circuitry, with a 5 way switch for Jerry Strat type tones as well as the classic Tele twatng! Some time in its life a mini switch would have been between the volume and tone pot as there is a hole where it once was. The machine heads have been changed to mini Schallers. It has also been signed by country legend Albert Lee and lacquerd over but who ever did it didnt do a great job as its quite bubbly when held up to the light. If you are looking for a vintage tele that has been used, looks and sounds great then look no further, why pay for a relic with the look of a vintage instrument when you can have the real thing for less!!!!
